Method to load scrap for electric arc furnace including at least a roof (13) associated with movable moving means (17) cooperating with second movable moving means (24), the roof (13) including at least a hole (15) to discharge the fumes (16), the scrap (22) being contained in baskets (21), there being included at least a system to process the fumes (32) connected with the chimney, the full basket (21) including at least a first position (21a) to pre- heat the scrap arranged at the side of and in proximity to the furnace (10) and a second position (21b) to unload the scrap arranged in cooperation with the mouth of the furnace (10), the movable moving means (24) of the basket (21) and the movable moving means (17) of the roof (13) being functionally associated at least momentarily, the basket (21) containing the scrap being installed in a removable manner on the second movable moving means (24) and being associated at least temporally with a covering system (29), which can be translated from a closed position to an open position, the fumes (16) leaving the fourth hole (15) of the furnace (10) being sent inside the basket (21) containing the scrap (22) through a discharge duct which connects an inlet aperture (27) included on the covering system (29) with the fourth hole of the furnace (13), the fumes (16) being made to leave the basket (21) through an outlet aperture cooperating with the bottom of the basket (21) and directly connected with a combustion chamber (28), the roof (13) passing from its first closed position (13a) to its second open position (13b) in coordination with the passage of the basket (21) from its first pre-heating position (21a) to its second unloading position (21b).
L'invention concerne un procédé pour charger la ferraille dans un four à arc électrique qui comprend au moins une voûte (13) reliée à un système mobile de transport (17) fonctionnant en conjonction avec un deuxième système mobile de transport (24), ladite voûte (13) comportant au moins un trou (15) servant à évacuer les vapeurs (16); la ferraille (22) est placée dans des bennes (21) avec au moins un système de traitement des vapeurs (32) connecté à la cheminée. La benne remplie (21) se place dans au moins une première position (21a) pour le préchauffage de la ferraille, du côté du four (10) et à proximité de celui-ci, et dans une deuxième position (21b) pour le déchargement de la ferraille en conjonction avec la bouche du four (10). Le système mobile de transport (24) de la benne (21) et le système mobile de transport (17) de la voûte (13) sont reliés entre eux de manière fonctionnelle, du moins pendant un moment; la benne (21) contenant la ferraille est installée de manière amovible sur le deuxième système mobile de transport (24) et est reliée, du moins provisoirement, au système de recouvrement (29) qui peut être déplacé entre une position fermée et une position ouverte; les vapeurs (16) sortant du quatrième trou (15) du four (10) sont envoyées à l'intérieur de la benne (21) contenant la ferraille (22) à travers une conduite de déchargerment qui relie une ouverture d'admission (27), comprise dans le système de recouvrement (29), au quatrième trou du fourneau (13). On force les vapeurs (16) à sortir de la benne (21) par une ouverture d'évacuation fonctionnant de concert avec le fond de la benne (21) et raccordée directement à une chambre de combustion (28); le passage de la voûte (13) de sa première position fermée (13a) à sa deuxième position ouverte (13b) est coordonné avec le passage de la benne (21) de sa première position de préchauffage (21a) à sa deuxième position de déchargement (21b).
