The present invention is related to a method to obtain and to produce massively an isolated species of cyanobacteria that produces paralyzing phycotoxins, which comprises the steps of inoculating cyanobacterial filaments in MLA medium supplemented with arginine, methionine and allantoic acid; culturing the cyanobacteria; collecting a volume of culture medium and restituting the removed volume with fresh culture medium; keeping the culture in continuous mode; centrifuging the medium containing the cyanobacteria.

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'obtention et de production de masse d'une espèce de cyanobactérie isolée productrice de phycotoxines paralysantes. Ce procédé comprend les étapes qui consistent à inoculer des filaments de cyanobactérie dans un milieu de culture MLA complété par de l'arginine, de la méthionine et de l'acide allantoïque; à cultiver la cyanobactérie; à recueillir un volume du milieu de culture et à remplacer le volume retiré par un milieu de culture frais; à maintenir la culture en mode continu; à centrifuger le milieu avec les cyanobactéries.
