A method to prevent build-up of limestone in a slaker (2) that is used for batchwise slaking of burnt lime is described, in which lime slurry is produced with a greater degree of fineness and prolonged sedimentation time, where for immediate cleansing of the slaker (2) before next slaking, after said calibration of the load cell aggregate (7), a number of valves are opened for given time periods for addition of flushing water to respective nozzles, in that flushing water is supplied sequentially via each valve to associated nozzle(s), until a predetermined amount of flushing water is reached in the slaker (2).
Procédé empêchant la formation de calcaire dans un extincteur de chaux (2) utilisé pour l'extinction par lots de chaux vive. Ce procédé consiste à produire une boue de chaux aux grain plus fins et au temps de sédimentation accrue. Pour un nettoyage immédiat de l'extincteur (2) avant la prochaine extinction, et après étalonnage des agrégats de la cellule de charge (7), on ouvre un certain nombre de vannes pendant des laps de temps déterminés en vue de l'ajout d'eau de rinçage aux buses, l'eau de rinçage allant alimenter séquentiellement via chaque vanne les buses corespondantes jusqu'à ce qu'un niveau prédéterminé d'eau de rinçage soit atteint dans l'extincteur.
