A filler material for the exterior surface of a high voltage coil having Roebeled strands is described. The filler material comprises an epoxy resin impregnated felt which is wrapped in a low resistance conductive tape. The conductive tape reduces potential gradients across the filler material, thereby reducing the occurrence of unwanted electrical discharges in the filler voids.
L'invention concerne une matière de charge destinée à la surface extérieure d'une bobine à haute tension comportant des brins tressés Roebel. La matière de charge contient un feutre imprégné de résine époxyde, lequel est enveloppé dans une bande conductrice faiblement résistante. La bande conductrice réduit les gradients de potentiel de la matière de charge, réduisant ainsi la présence de décharges électriques non voulues dans les porosités de ladite matière.
