An assembly (10) comprising a battery box (11) and a lid (12). The lid (12) defines a well (13) for receiving a secondary closure (14), with the well providing filling access to the battery box (11). The secondary closure is applied to a battery box lid by a secondary closure applying apparatus. This comprises essentially three units: a lid and battery box assembly locating unit (16), a heated platen unit (17) and a closure applicator (18). By engaging lid (12), rather than box (11), any offset positioning of the lid relative to the box, is substantially removed. Orientation of platen and closure (14) is made in response to the detected position of the well (13) and/or lid (12).
La présente invention concerne un ensemble (10) comportant un bac d'accumulateur (11) et un couvercle (12). Le couvercle (12) définit un caisson (13) pour la réception d'une fermeture auxiliaire (14), le caisson permettant un accès de remplissage au bac d'accumulateur (11). On applique la fermeture auxiliaire au bac d'accumulateur au moyen d'un appareil de fermeture auxiliaire. Celui-ci comporte essentiellement trois unités: un ensemble de logement de couvercle et de bac d'accumulateur (16), un unité de platine réchauffée (17) et un applicateur de fermeture (18). Par la prise avec le couvercle (12), plutôt qu'avec le bac (11), on élimine sensiblement tout décalage de position du couvercle par rapport au caisson. On effectue l'orientation de la platine et de la fermeture (14) suite à la détection de la position du coffre (13) et/ou du couvercle (12).
