Methods and apparatus for controlling power supplied to vapor jet vacuum pumps are provided. A vapor jet vacuum pumping system includes a vapor jet pump having an inlet port, an exhaust port, a jet assembly and a boiler (12), the boiler including a heater (50), and a power controller for automatically controlling power supplied to the heater in response to at least one control parameter. The power may be controlled in response to a programmed sequence, to a sensed pressure in a process chamber, to control signals from a process control system, or to combinations of these control parameters.
L'invention porte sur des procédés et un appareil de régulation de l'alimentation de pompes à vide à jet de vapeur. Un tel système de pompage comporte un orifice d'entrée, un orifice de sortie, une unité de jet, et une chaudière (12) qui comporte elle-même un réchauffeur (50), et un régulateur automatique de l'alimentation du réchauffeur répondant à au moins un paramètre de commande. La régulation peut se faire en réponse: à une séquence programmée, à la pression détectée dans la chambre de processus, à des signaux de commande provenant du système de commande de processus, ou à une combinaison de ces paramètres.
