Methods and apparatus for establishing communication between a Mobile Node and a Home Agent are disclosed. The Home Agent receives a registration request packet from the Mobile Node, the registration request packet including an IP source address and a Home Agent address. The Home Agent then detects from the registration request packet when network address translation has been performed. When it has been detected that network address translation has been performed, a tunnel is set up between the Home Agent address and the IP source address.
L'invention concerne un procédé et des appareils permettant d'établir une communication entre un noeud mobile (MN) et un agent mère (HA). Le HA reçoit un paquet de demandes d'enregistrement en provenance du noeud mobile, ce paquet de demandes d'enregistrement comprenant une adresse de source IP et une adresse de HA. Le HA détecte ensuite, à partir du paquet de demandes d'enregistrement, le moment auquel la traduction de l'adresse de réseau a été exécutée. Lorsqu'il a été détecté que la traduction de l'adresse de réseau a été exécutée, un tunnel est établi entre l'adresse de HA et l'adresse de source IP.
