A method facilitates assembling a turbine engine (10) to facilitate preventing ice accumulation on the turbine engine during engine operation. The method comprises coupling at least one heat pipe (100) to the engine such that a first end (112) of the at least one heat pipe is coupled in thermal communication with a heat source, and coupling a second end (110) of the at least one heat pipe in thermal communication with an outer surface (126) of an engine component (62, 70) that is upstream from the heat source.

Méthode facilitant l'assemblage d'un moteur à turbine (10) afin d'empêcher plus facilement l'accumulation de glace sur un moteur à turbine lors de l'utilisation d'un tel moteur. La méthode comprend les opérations suivantes : accouplement d'au moins un caloduc (100) au moteur de façon à ce qu'une première extrémité (112) d'au moins un caloduc soit reliée thermiquement avec une source de chaleur, et accouplement d'une seconde extrémité d'au moins un caloduc pour le relier thermiquement à une surface extérieure (126) d'un élément de moteur (62, 70) qui est situé en amont de la source de chaleur.
