A system is set forth for the enabling of bingo and similar games of chance to be played in real time at locations which are geographically separated from the location where the game symbols are selected. Game arrays are purchased at POS terminals (201-1 - 210-N). Players play from remote location (210) with the aid of communications equipment (204) which is connected with the system base station (202) and random symbol generator (203).
