Method and apparatus for separating acid gas from a natural gas stream. The method includes the steps of: contacting the natural gas stream with a semi-lean amine solution and a lean amine solution to produce a rich amine solution, separating a first portion of carbon dioxide from the rich amine solution to produce the semi-lean amine solution, and heating a portion of the semi-lean amine solution to separate a second portion of carbon dioxide and produce the lean amine solution. The rich amine solution and semi-lean amine solution are heated from using recovered waste heat derived from one or more of a land based facility or an off-shore facility located on a platform or floating vessel.
Procédé et appareil de séparation de gaz acide d'un courant de gaz naturel. Le procédé comprend les phases consistant à : mettre en contact le courant de gaz naturel avec une solution d'amine semi-pauvre et une solution d'amine pauvre pour produire une solution d'amine riche, séparer une première portion de dioxyde de carbone de la solution d'amine riche pour produire la solution d'amine semi-pauvre, et chauffer une portion de la solution d'amine semi-pauvre pour séparer une seconde portion de dioxyde de carbone et produire la solution d'amine pauvre. La solution d'amine riche et la solution d'amine semi-pauvre sont chauffées pour utiliser la chaleur perdue récupérée dérivée d'un ou plusieurs des sites basés sur terre ou d'un équipement off-shore situé sur une plate-forme ou un vaisseau flottant.
