An air purification system that uses laser beams (40) to purify air. A laser beam (42) is set to sweep across the interior of a box (20) that is open at two ends to the flow of air. The laser beam (42) is of sufficient strength to destroy or neutralize any dust particles, pollen, pathogens, allergens, aor gasses that are present in the flow of air through the box (20). An air baffle box (80) is utilized at each end of the box with the air flow to prevent the laser beam from escaping from the box.

L'invention concerne un système de purification de l'air à faisceaux laser (40). Un faisceau laser (42) balaie l'intérieur d'une boîte (20) ouverte au flux d'air à deux extrémités, de force suffisante pour détruire ou neutraliser toute particule de poussière ou autre pollen, pathogène, allergène ou gaz sur le trajet du flux d'air à travers la boîte (20). On utilise une boîte à déflecteur d'air (80) à chaque extrémité de la boîte traversée par le flux d'air pour empêcher le faisceau laser de s'échapper de celle-ci.
