The present invention relates to uplink transmissions and scheduling of resources for uplink transmissions in connection with packet switched communication. A radio communication network schedules (301) time slots for transmission of bursts of a first radio block on at least two different uplink packet data channels and transmits (302) an Uplink State Flag, associated with a mobile station for which the first radio block was scheduled, on a first downlink packet data channel representing a first subperiod within a basic uplink period. The mobile station receives (303) the Uplink State Flag, identifies (304) the scheduled resources for transmission of the first radio block wherein the timing of the first subperiod is derived utilizing the fact that the Uplink State Flag was received on the first downlink packet data channel and transmits (305) the first radio block utilizing the identified resources.
La présente invention concerne des transmissions montantes et la programmation de ressources pour de telles transmissions en rapport dans le contexte de communications à commutation de paquets. Dans un réseau de communication radio, on programme (301) des créneaux temporels en vue de la transmission par rafales d'un premier bloc radio sur au moins deux canaux de paquets différents en liaison montante et l'on transmet (302) un drapeau d'état montant associé à une station mobile pour laquelle le premier bloc radio avait été programmé, sur un premier canal de données en paquet représentant une première sous-période au sein d'une période montante de base. La station mobile reçoit (303) le drapeau d'état montant, identifie (304) les ressources prévues pour la transmission de premier bloc radio - la synchronisation des premières sous-périodes découlant du fait que le drapeau d'état montant a été reçu sur ledit premier canal de paquets de données en liaison descendante et transmet (305) le premier bloc radio au moyen des ressources identifiées.
