There are numerous medical situations involving deficiencies of living tissue and where increase of living tissue mass is desired. Methods are described wherein a configured, shell-like device that is capable of being penetrated by living cells and tissues, is implanted into the body of a mammal in such a way as to establish a space, the space being at least partly, bounded by the device. The configuration of the device is such that the configuration of the established space is essentially the same as the configuration of living tissue that is desired for treatment of the tissue deficiency. At least one tissue stimulating molecular substance is placed within the established space for the purpose of stimulating the growth of desired living tissue within the established space. A kit for the generation of desired living tissue, comprised of the components mentioned above, is also disclosed.
Il existe de nombreuses situations médicales qui s'accompagnent de carences en tissus vivants et dans lesquelles on souhaite augmenter la masse de tissus vivants. L'invention concerne des procédés utilisant un dispositif dûment configuré dont la forme rappelle une coquille. Ce dispositif, qui peut être pénétré par des cellules et tissus vivants, est implanté dans le corps d'un mammifère de manière à délimiter un espace dont au moins une partie serait liée par le dispositif. La forme du dispositif est choisie de manière à ce que la forme de l'espace délimité soit sensiblement identique à celle du tissu vivant dont on veut combattre la carence. Au moins un tissu stimulant la substance moléculaire est placé à l'intérieur de l'espace délimité afin de stimuler la croissance du tissu vivant désiré à l'intérieur dudit espace. L'invention concerne également un kit de génération du tissu vivant désiré,ui est constitué des éléments décrits plus haut.
