The present invention concerns methods and compositions for inhibiting neoplastic cell growth. In particular, the present invention concerns antitumor compositions and methods for the treatment of tumors. The invention further concerns screening methods for identifying growth inhibitory, e.g., antitumor compounds. In addition, the present invention is directed to novel polypeptides and to nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides. Also provided herein are vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides of the present invention fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides of the present invention and to methods for producing the polypeptides of the present invention.
Cette invention a trait à des méthodes, ainsi qu'aux compositions correspondantes, permettant d'inhiber la croissance de cellules néoplasiques. Elle concerne, notamment, des compositions antitumorales et des méthode de traitemente tumeurs. Elle porte, en outre, sur des méthodes de criblage aux fins de l'identification d'inhibiteurs de croissance, c'est-à-dire, des composés antitumoraux. Elle a trait, de surcroît, à de nouveaux polypeptides et à des molécules d'acide nucléique les codant. Il est également question, dans cette invention, de vecteurs et de cellules hôtes comportant ces séquences nucléotidiques, de molécules polypeptidiques chimères comportant les polypeptides susmentionnés fusionnés avec des séquences polypeptidiques hétérologues, d'anticorps se liant à ces polypeptides et de procédés de production desdits polypeptides.
