Method and compositions are provided for treating or preventing a skin pathology or disorder associated with diabetes and/or aging, by topical administration of at least one agent capable of restoring an impaired physiological condition of the skin associated with said skin pathology or disorder. Examples of such agents include PKC modulating agents, various adipokines and insulin signaling related molecules. In particular, restoration of the subcutaneous adipose tissue can overcome many of the diabetic skin pathologies and aging skin disorders and conditions.
Cette invention concerne une méthode et des compositions utilisées pour traiter ou prévenir une pathologie ou un trouble cutané associé au diabète et/ou au vieillissement, par administration topique d'au moins un agent capable de restaurer un état physiologique altéré de la peau associé à la pathologie ou au trouble cutané. Parmi ces agents figurent notamment des agents modulateurs de la PKC, diverses adipokines et des molécules associées à la signalisation de l'insuline. En particulier, la restauration du tissu adipeux sous-cutané peut résorber un grand nombre des pathologies de la peau diabétique et de troubles et états du vieillissement de la peau.
