A novel method for inhibiting oxygen corrosion in an oil well, and an emulsion useful therein. The method comprises introducing into the well a pourable emulsion comprising about 50 to about 95 volume percent discontinuous aqueous phase, about 5 to about 50 volume percent continuous oil phase, and a corrosion inhibiting amount of a composition comprising a corrosion inhibitor selected from among thiophosphates containing both oxygen and sulfur, pyrophosphates containing both oxygen and sulfur and mixtures thereof.
Cette invention concerne un nouveau procédé permettant d'inhiber la corrosion par l'oxygène dans un puits de pétrole, ainsi qu'une émulsion utilisée dans ce procédé. Ce procédé consiste à introduire dans le puits une émulsion versable comprenant environ de 50 à 95 % en volume d'une phase aqueuse discontinue, environ de 5 à 50 % en volume d'une phase huileuse continue et, enfin, une quantité suffisante pour inhiber la corrosion d'une composition contenant un inhibiteur de corrosion choisi parmi des thiophosphates contenant de l'oxygène et du soufre, des pyrophosphates contenant de l'oxygène et du soufre, ou encore, des mélanges de ces derniers.
