The present invention relates to methods and processes for controlling fermentation. Two proportional feedback control loops are implemented in a cascade. One control loop is used to maintain the pH by adjusting the dissolved oxygen-stat setpoint. The other control loop is used to maintain the dissolved oxygen by regulating the nutrient feed rate using the newly adjusted dissolved oxygen-set point.
L'invention concerne des méthodes et des procédés de commande de fermentation. Selon l'invention, deux boucles de commande à rétroaction proportionnelle sont exécutées en cascade. Une boucle de commande est utilisée pour maintenir le pH par ajustement du point de consigne d'oxygène dissous. L'autre boucle de commande est utilisée pour maintenir l'oxygène dissous par régulation du taux d'alimentation en nutriments au moyen du point de consigne d'oxygène dissous nouvellement ajusté.
