Methods and a system for vehicle control are provided. The system includes an input device configured to receive a required time of arrival at a way point and a processor communicatively coupled to the input device. The processor is programmed to determine a forward Sate time profile, determine a forward early time profile representing the earliest tune the vehicle could arrive at a point along the track and still arrive at the way point while transiting at a maximum available speed, and deter-mine an estimated time uncertainty (ETU) associated with at least one of the forward late time profile and the forward eariy time profile. The system also includes an output device communicatively coupled to the processor, the output device configured to transmit the determined uncertainty with a respective one of the at least one of the forward late time profile and the forward early time profile to a display.
La présente invention concerne des procédés et un système de commande de véhicule. Le système comprend un dispositif d'entrée configuré pour recevoir un temps d'arrivée requis à un point de cheminement et un processeur couplé de manière communicative au dispositif d'entrée. Le processeur est programmé pour déterminer un profil d'heure tardive, déterminer un profil d'heure précoce représentant le réglage le plus précoce auquel le véhicule pourrait arriver à un point le long de la piste et arriver encore au point de cheminement tout en circulant à une vitesse maximum disponible et déterminer une incertitude horaire estimée (ETU) associée à au moins un des profils d'heure tardive et d'heure précoce. Le système comprend également un dispositif de sortie couplé de manière communicative au processeur, le dispositif de sortie étant configuré pour déterminer l'incertitude avec le profil d'heure tardive et/ou le profil d'heure précoce par rapport à un écran.
