Contemplated methods and devices for coagulation control allow to establish a more constant dosage of required medication and to quantify/take into account patient-specific sensitivity to warfarin and Vitamin K by using logit (1/INR) as the dependent variable to so stabilize the variance across all values of INR. Moreover, it should be noted that such use simplifies the relation between INR and dose of coumarins or Vitamin K and reduces the number of parameters to be estimated for each patient.

Les procédés et dispositifs de contrôle de la coagulation selon linvention permettent d'établir un dosage plus constant des médicaments nécessaires et de quantifier/prendre en compte la sensibilité à la warfarine et à la vitamine K spécifique au patient à l'aide d'un logit (1/INR) servant de variable dépendante de manière à stabiliser la variance sur l'ensemble des valeurs de l'INR. En outre, il convient de noter qu'une telle utilisation simplifie la relation entre l'INR et la dose de coumarines ou de vitamine K et réduit le nombre de paramètres à estimer pour chaque patient.
