A radiocommunication system supports high throughput rates over an air interface. An access network interface, e.g., between a base station and base station controller, conveys information between the base station and the rest of the terrestrial system. Techniques are provided to adjust transmission rates over the air interface based on loading of the access network. Techniques are also provided to control bandwidth allocation over the access network interface and distribute call blocking/delay percentages when there is an imbalance between the capacity of the air interface and the access network interface.
L'invention concerne un système de radiocommunication qui accepte un produit vitesse-densité élevé par une interface radio. Une interface réseau d'accès, par exemple, entre une station de base et un contrôleur de station de base, véhicule des informations entre la station de base et le reste du système terrestre. Des techniques permettent d'ajuster les débits de transmission par l'interface radio sur la base du chargement du réseau d'accès. Des techniques permettent également de commander l'affectation de largeur de bande par l'interface réseau d'accès et de distribuer les blocages d'appels/pourcentages de retard quand il y a un déséquilibre entre la capacité de l'interface radio et celle de l'interface réseau d'accès.
