The invention concerns a method for determining the absolute cell count of an identifiable cell sub-population contained in a sample by introducing into an aliquot of said biological sample a pre-determined amount of a fluid reagent comprising a known concentration of fixed and labelled cells; then using flow cytometry to determine an absolute cell count of said cell sub-population.

L'invention concerne un procédé de numération absolue de cellules dans une sous-population de cellules identifiables contenue dans un échantillon. Ce procédé consiste à introduire dans une aliquote de l'échantillon biologique une quantité prédéterminée d'un réactif fluide renfermant une concentration connue de cellules fixées et marquées; et à appliquer ensuite la cytométrie de flux pour déterminer la numération absolue des cellules de ladite sous-population cellulaire.
