The present invention provides compositions and methods for the treatment of diseases associated with the abnormal growth of cells, and more specifically cancer. The compositions and methods of the present invention provide a decreased dosage of chemotherapeutic and antiangionic agents. In particular, the present invention provides methods of administering low doses of endostatin protein. Also included are methods of antiangiogenic scheduling of one or more therapeutic agents.
