A method is provided for calcium phosphate transfection of a eukaryotic host cell wherein particles comprising calcium phosphate and a desired nucleic acid are grown to an optimal size and then contacted with the host cell under conditions that substantially reduce the particle growth rate and allow the host cell to take up the particles to form a transfected cell.
L'invention concerne un procédé de transfection de cellules eucaryotes réceptrices, faisant appel à du phosphate de calcium. On provoque une croissance de particules constituées de phosphate de calcium et d'acide nucléique choisi, jusqu'à avoir une taille optimale et ces particules sont alors mises en contact avec les cellules réceptrices dans des conditions qui diminuent sensiblement la vitesse de croissance des particules et permettent leur absorption et la formation de cellules transfectées.
