A novel method for determining the levels of TGF-.beta.1 or TGF-.beta.2 in a sample of milk, raw protein source, or nutri-tional composition is provided. The method involves, in some cases, reconstituting the sample; in some cases, centrifuging the sample; activating the sample using particular ratios of sample:acid:base; diluting the sample using particular ratios of sample:buffer agent; and determining the concentration of TGF-.beta.1 in the sample using an ELISA assay.

Linvention porte sur un nouveau procédé permettant de déterminer les niveaux de TGF-ß1 ou de TGF-ß2 dans un échantillon de lait, de source de protéine brute ou de composition nutritionnelle. Le procédé comprend, dans certains cas, la reconstitution de léchantillon ; dans certains cas, la centrifugation de léchantillon ; lactivation de léchantillon à laide de rapports particuliers échantillon : acide : base ; la dilution de léchantillon à laide de rapports particuliers échantillon : agent tampon ; et la détermination de la concentration de TGF-ß1 dans léchantillon au moyen dun dosage biologique ELISA.
