Methods for forming a laminate structure elastically extensible in at least one direction are disclosed, comprising providing a first coverstock layer (22); providing a second coverstock layer (26); providing an elastomeric layer (24) between the first and the second coverstock layers; and joining the elastomeric layer between the first and second coverstock layers and along edge regions thereof to provide side anchor zones along edge regions of the laminate structure.

L'invention a trait à des techniques de production de structure laminée extensible de manière élastique dans une direction au moins, consistant à former une première (22) et une seconde (26) couche de couverture ainsi qu'une couche élastomère (24) entre les deux couches susmentionnées. Cette couche élastomère est ensuite rattachée aux deux couches de couvertures, entre celles-ci et sur leurs bords et ce, afin d'assurer des zones d'ancrage latéral sur les bords de la structure laminée.
