Disclosed are methods for preparing 2-alkynyladenosine derivatives of Formula (A): or a stereoisomer, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, acid salt hydrate or isomorphic crystalline form thereof, the method comprising the step ofcontacting 2-iodoadenosine-5'-N-ethyluronamide with a compound of Formula (B): wherein Z is -C(=O)OR or -CH20C(=O)R, where R is a C1 to C5 alkyl, preferably methyl. The methods are useful for preparing 2~- alkynyladenosine derivatives that are, in certain embodiments, adenosine receptor agonists.
L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de préparer des dérivés de 2-alcynyladénosine représentés par la formule (A): (A) ou un stéréoisomère, un sel, un hydrate, un solvate, un sel acide hydraté ou une forme cristalline isomorphe, pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ce dernier. Ces procédés comprennent l'étape consistant à mettre en contact du 2-iodoadénosine-5'-N-éthyluronamide avec un composé représenté par la formule (B): (B) dans laquelle Z représente -C(=O)OR ou -CH¿2?OC(=O)R, R représentant un alkyle C¿1? à C¿5?, de préférence le méthyle. Ces procédés servent à préparer des dérivés de 2-alcynyladénosine qui, dans certaines formes de réalisation, sont des agonistes du récepteur de l'adénosine.
