Disclosed is a process for production of humanized ceramide in an yeast cell. The process comprises the following steps 1) and 2): 1) introducing a sphingoid .DELTA.4-desaturase gene (DES1) into an yeast cell by transformation; and 2) deactivating the expression of an yeast sphinganine C4- hydroxylase gene (SUR2) in the yeast cell by transformation.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'un céramide humanisé dans une cellule de levure.
