In one embodiment, the invention relates to a method for creating a diffused thin film surface treatments on one or more interior surfaces of closed or partially closed fluid transport or processing systems providing improved surface prophylaxis against fouling. The method involves contacting the interior surfaces to be treated with a metal compound composition, and converting the metal compound composition to metal oxide for example by heating the surfaces to the desired temperature after all or a part of the system has been assembled. Embodiments of the present invention can be performed in situ on existing fluid processing or transport systems, which minimizes the disruption to the surface treatment created by welds, joints, flanges, and damage caused by or during the system assembly process.
Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé pour créer un traitement de surface filmogène mince diffus sur une ou plusieurs surfaces intérieures de systèmes fermés ou partiellement fermés de transport ou de traitement de fluide améliorant la prophylaxie de surface contre l'encrassement. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact les surfaces intérieures à traiter avec une composition d'un composé métallique, et à convertir la composition d'un composé métallique en oxyde de métal, par exemple en chauffant les surfaces à la température souhaitée une fois que tout le système ou qu'une partie du système est assemblé. Les modes de réalisation selon l'invention peuvent être effectués in situ sur des systèmes existants de transport ou de traitement de fluide, ce qui minimise la rupture sur le traitement de la surface résultant des soudures, des joints, des collerettes et les dégâts provoqués par le procédé d'assemblage du système ou pendant celui-ci.
