The present invention relates to an improved method fro reclaiming and recycling developing solvents used in the production of flexographic printing plates. More specifically, the invention relates to reclaiming and recycling developing solvent through centrifugation and/or filtration. According to the invention, the solvent used to develop the printing plates can be reclaimed and/or recycled by simply centrifuging the polymer-contaminated solvent. In certain embodiment, the centrifuged solvent is further filtered. The process involves transferring the contaminated solvent, from a plate processor (22) or dirty holding tank (30), to a centrifuge (20) and/or filter (50), and centrifuging and/or filtering the contaminated solvent to remove the polymer. The reclaimed solvent can be transferred directly back to the plate processor (22) or to a clean holding tank (28).
La présente invention concerne une amélioration d'un procédé de récupération et recyclage des bains de développement utilisés pour la production clichés flexographiques. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement la récupération et/ou le recyclage des bains de développement par centrifugation et/ou filtration. En l'occurrence, on récupère et/ou recycle les bains de développement des clichés simplement par centrifugation du bain pollué par les polymères. Dans certains modes de réalisation, on finit par un filtrage du bain centrifugé. En l'occurrence, on transfère le bain pollué du développeur ou d'un bac de bain usé vers une centrifugeuse où l'on centrifuge le bain pollué pour en retirer le polymère. On peut alors renvoyer le bain directement dans le développeur ou dans un bac de réserve.
