Methods for the early detection of HIV infection by detecting a change in signal transduction mediator activity, particularly an enzyme mediator, more particularly a member of the src protein tyrosine kinase family. The methods are applicable to HIV detection with serum, plasma, blood cell lysates, urine and saliva media. The methods provide a very early, reliable, specific and sensitive test of seronegative HIV infection that is affordable and practical on a large scale.

Procédés permettant de détecter de manière précoce la contamination par le VIH au moyen de la détection d'un changement dans l'activité du médiateur de transduction du signal, plus particulièrement un médiateur enzymatique et encore plus particulièrement un élément de la famille SRC des tyrosine kinases protéiques. Ces procédés peuvent être appliqués à la détection du VIH avec du sérum, du plasma, des lysats de cellules sanguines, de l'urine et de la salive. Ces procédés constituent un test sensible et spécifique, très précoce et fiable de la contamination séronégative par le VIH qui se caractérise par un coût abordable et par son aspect pratique à grande échelle.
