In particular, the compounds possessing functional antagonist properties comprise 1-aminocyclopanecarboxylic acid, and its pharmaceutically acceptable esters, salts, and acid addition salts or 7-chlorokynurenic acid, and its pharmaceutically acceptable esters, amides, salts, ethers, and acid addition salts.
