Methods for treating FSH related conditions, such as prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia, pedophilia, infertility, or vaginal bleeding, with GnRH antagonists are disclosed. The methods of the invention generally feature administering to a subject a GnRH antagonist suitable for (in vivo administration and able to reduce both plasma FSH and LH levels in a subject, in an amount or in a formulation effective to reduce plasma FSH levels in the subject to a symptom alleviating level. In vitro fertilization and male contraceptive methods are also provided.
L'invention concerne des procédés de traitement pour les affections liées à la FSH (par exemple, néoplasie prostatique intra-épithéliale, pédophilie, infertilité ou saignement vaginal) par le biais d'antagonistes vis-à-vis de la GnRH, qui consistent généralement à administrer un antagoniste vis-à-vis de la GnRH se prêtant à une administration in vivo et pouvant réduire simultanément les niveaux de FSH et d'hormone lutéinisante (LH) dans le plasma, selon une quantité ou une formulation efficace pour ramener chez un sujet les niveaux de FSH dans le plasma à un seuil d'atténuation des symptômes. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fertilisation in vitro et de contraception masculine.
