A method is provided herein to increase an immune response to an antigen. The method includes administering an agent that inhibits extracellular adenosine or inhibits adenosine receptors. Also disclosed are methods to increase the efficacy of a vaccine and to increase an immune response to a tumor antigen or immune cell-mediated tumor destruction.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'accroître une réponse immune contre un antigène. Le procédé consiste à administrer un agent inhibant l'adénosine extracellulaire ou inhibant des récepteurs de l'adénosine. L'invention concerne également des procédés permettant d'accroître l'efficacité d'un vaccin et d'accroître une réponse immune contre un antigène tumoral ou contre une destruction tumorale induite par une cellule immune.
