The present invention relates to methods and compositions for the diagnosis, treatment, management, or prevention of plasma cell disorders, including systemic light-chain amyloidosis (AL) and multiple myeloma (MM). In particular, the invention encompasses the use of anti-CD32B antibodies, analogs, derivatives or fragments thereof, or compounds or agents that bind to CD32B and modulate CD32B activity in the plasma cells of mammals. The invention also encompasses the use of anti-CD32B antibodies, analogs, derivatives or fragments thereof, or CD32B binding compounds or agents in combination with or in addition to other cancer therapies for the treatment, prevention, management, or amelioration of a plasma cell disorder characterized by the expression of CD32B, or one or more symptoms thereof. The invention further relates to the use of anti-CD32B antibodies, analogs, derivatives or fragments thereof for the detection of aberrant or altered expression of CD32B in plasma cells, to diagnosis and/or characterize a plasma cell disorder.
La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions permettant de diagnostiquer, traiter, gérer, ou prévenir des troubles liés aux cellules plasmatiques, y compris l'amylose systémique à chaîne légère d'immunoglobuline (AL) et les myélomes multiples (MM). L'invention concerne en particulier l'utilisation d'anticorps anti-CD32B, leurs analogues, dérivés ou fragments, ou des composés ou des agents qui se lient au récepteur CD32B et modulent son activité dans les cellules plasmatiques de mammifères. L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation d'anticorps anti-CD32B, leurs analogues, dérivés ou fragments, ou sur des composés ou des agents se liant au CD32B, combinés ou adjoints à d'autres thérapies anticancéreuses en vue du traitement, de la prévention, de la gestion, ou de l'amélioration d'un trouble lié aux cellules plasmatiques et caractérisé par l'expression de CD32B, ou d'un ou de plusieurs des symptômes associés à ce trouble. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation d'anticorps anti-CD32B, leurs analogues, dérivés ou fragments, pour la détection de l'expression aberrante ou modifiée de CD32B dans des cellules plasmatiques, pour le diagnostic et/ou la caractérisation d'un trouble lié aux cellules plasmatiques.
