In accordance with a method of this invention, formation integrity problems are discovered, diagnosed and corrected in successively drilled subterranean well bore intervals. If one or more of well bore fluid outflows, formation fluid inflows or inadequate well bore pressure containment integrity are discovered in a drilled well bore interval, well logs are run and other relevant well bore data is collected in the drilled well bore interval and analyzed to provide a specific treatment using a specific pumpable sealing composition for sealing and increasing the pressure containment integrity of the well bore. Thereafter, the sealing composition is pumped into the drilled well bore interval whereby the well bore interval is sealed or the pressure containment integrity is increased, or both.
Selon le procédé de l'invention, des problèmes d'intégrité de formations sont découverts, diagnostiqués et corrigés dans des intervalles de puits de forage souterrains. Si un ou plusieurs liquides de forage s'écoulent, des liquides de formation affluent ou si l'intégrité inadéquate du confinement de la pression des puits de forage sont découverts dans un intervalle de puits de forage, des diagraphies de puits sont exécutées. D'autres données correspondant à des puits de forage sont collectées dans ledit intervalle de puits de forage et analysées de manière à mettre en oeuvre un traitement spécifique, au moyen d'une composition d'étanchéité spécifique, pouvant être pompée et qui est destinée à fermer hermétiquement et à augmenter l'intégrité du confinement de la pression dudit puits de forage. De plus, ladite composition d'étanchéité est pompée à l'intérieur de l'intervalle du puits de forage, ledit intervalle de puits de forage étant fermé hermétiquement ou l'intégrité de confinement de la pression est améliorée, ou les deux à la fois.
