The present invention is directed to a method of isolating hydrajet stimulated zones from subsequent well operations. The method includes the step of drilling a wellbore into the subterranean formation of interest. Next, the wellbore may or may not be cased depending upon a number of factors including the nature and structure of the subterranean formation. Next, the casing, if one is installed, and wellbore are perforated using a high pressure fluid being ejected from a hydrajetting tool. A first zone of the subterranean formation is then fractured and stimulated. Next, the first zone is temporarily plugged or partially sealed by I installing an isolation fluid into the wellbore adjacent to the one or more fractures and/or in the openings thereof, so that subsequent zones can be fractured and additional well operations can be performed.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé d'isolation de zones stimulées par jet hydraulique à partir d'opérations effectuées dans un puits. Le procédé consiste à creuser un puits de forage dans une formation souterraine donnée. Le puits peut être ensuite tubé ou non en fonction d'un certain nombre de facteurs tels que la nature et la structure de la formation souterraine. Dans le cas de l'installation d'un tubage, ce dernier et le puits de forage sont perforés par un fluide haute pression envoyé par une lance. On fracture et on stimule ensuite une première zone de la formation souterraine et on bouche provisoirement ou on scelle hermétiquement partiellement cette première zone en envoyant un fluide d'isolation dans le puits de forage adjacent à une ou plusieurs fractures et/ou dans les ouvertures de ce puits de sorte que d'autres zones puissent être ensuite fracturées et que des travaux additionnels puissent être effectués dans le puits.
