CANADIAN PATENT APPLICATION OF SUNE ALLAN SANDQVIST FOR METHOD OF MAKING CONCRETE FLOORS Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a method of making a concrete floor such that the floor will be highly crack resistant and watertight, and is characterized in that beam means is made and subjected to forces that will bend the beam means elastically between its ends, where- upon, with the beam means in this condition, concrete is cast into a body in contact with said beam means to form a slab such that the convex upper side of said beam means is embedded in the concrete, whereby said slab and beam means after the concrete has set and said forces have been removed, will form a unit which is used for the construc- tion of said floor in which the slab, which forms the upper side of the floor, is placed under compression in its longitudinal direction by the elastic prestresses in said beam means.
