Methods of making indazoles are described. The methods involved reacting an aromatic aldehyde with a nitrogen source to form a nitroso aromatic aldehyde. The nitroso aromatic aldehyde is reacted with a reducing agent to form an indazole which ultimately can be used to form desired indazoles which are preferably pharmaceutically active products. The process of the present invention further permits the formation of enantiomerically enriched or pure indazoles such as aminoalkyl indazoles.

L'invention porte sur des procédés de fabrication d'indazoles qui consistent à faire réagir un aldéhyde aromatique avec une source d'azote de façon à former un aldéhyde aromatique nitroso qui est ensuite mis à réagir avec un agent de réduction de façon à former un indazole qui peut être utilisé ultérieurement pour former des indazoles désirés qui sont de préférence des produits actifs d'un point de vue pharmaceutique. Le procédé de cette invention permet de former des indazoles purs ou enrichis de manière énantiomérique tels que des indazoles aminoalkyle.
