Methods for making crosslinked material, such as collagen-based material, and bioprosthetic devices. The crosslinked material includes hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, and amine groups prior to crosslinking. The methods include removing at least a portion of the zero-length ester crosslinks in a crosslinked material and/or blocking at least a portion of the amine groups that are reactive with carboxyl groups and form zero-length crosslinks.

L'invention concerne des procédés de préparation de matériaux réticulés, de type matériaux à base de collagène, et de bioprothèses. Le matériau réticulé de l'invention comprend des groupes hydroxyle, carboxyle, et amine préalablement à la réticulation. Les procédés de l'invention consistent à éliminer au moins une partie des doubles liaisons ester de longueur nulle dans un matériau réticulé et/ou à bloquer au moins une partie des groupes amine qui réagissent avec des groupes carboxyle et qui forment des ponts de longueur nulle.
