Methods of producing a protein in cell culture comprising an anti-senescence compound, such as the antioxidant carnosine, are provided. According to teachings of the present invention, cells grown in a cell culture medium comprising an anti- senescence compound exhibit increased viability and productivity. Furthermore, cell cultures grown in the presence of an anti- senescence compound exhibit decreased levels of high molecular weight aggregates in the cell culture medium.
L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de produire une protéine en culture cellulaire comprenant un composé anti-sénescence, tel que l'antioxydant carnosine. Selon l'invention, les cellules cultivées dans un milieu de culture cellulaire comprenant un composé anti-sénescence présentent une viabilité et une productivité accrues. De plus, les cultures cellulaires cultivées en présence d'un composé anti-sénescence présentent des niveaux réduits d'agrégats de poids moléculaire élevé dans le milieu de culture cellulaire.
