Method for reducing weed on a weed-infested turfgrass. Said method comprising applying to the turfgrass an effective amount of a herbicidal fungus formulated into particles, most of the particles having a particle size of less than about 1.7 mm of diameter, whereas the herbicidal fungus decreases weed growth and/or increases weed disease development in the weed-infested turfgrass as compared to in the absence thereof; other embodiments of the methods comprising applying to the turfgrass an effective amount of a herbicidal fungus formulated into particles, and covering the weed- infested turfgrass with a ground cover sheet, whereas the herbicidal fungus and the ground cover sheet decrease weed growth and/or increases weed disease development in the weed-infested turfgrass as compared to in the absence thereof. L'invention concerne un procédé de réduction des mauvaises herbes sur une pelouse infestée de mauvaises herbes. Ledit procédé consiste à appliquer sur la pelouse une quantité efficace d'un champignon herbicide formulé sous forme de particules, la plus grande partie des particules ayant une taille de particules inférieure à environ 1,7 µm de diamètre, attendu que le champignon herbicide réduit la croissance des mauvaises herbes et/ou augmente le développement de maladies des mauvaises herbes dans la pelouse infestée de mauvaises herbes, par comparaison à l'absence de celui-ci. D'autres modes de réalisation du procédé consistent à appliquer sur la pelouse une quantité efficace d'un champignon herbicide formulé sous forme de particules, et à recouvrir la pelouse infestée de mauvaises herbes avec une feuille de couverture du sol, attendu que le champignon herbicide et la feuille de couverture du sol réduisent la croissance des mauvaises herbes et/ou augmentent le développement de maladies des mauvaises herbes dans la pelouse infestée de mauvaises herbes, par comparaison à l'absence de ceux-ci.
