Methods of releasing sporocysts/sporozoites from oocysts are provided wherein a solution of oocysts is subjected to controlled shear forces sufficient to rupture the oocysts walls and release sporocysts/sporozoites therefrom. A solution of oocysts is passed through a Microfluidizer® processor chamber unit under defined conditions of chamber diameter, chamber geometry, and pressure. Oocysts impact the wall of the chamber and are subjected to controlled, high shear forces, tearing open the oocyst wall and releasing the sporocysts/sporozoites intact.

L'invention concerne des procédés de libération de sporocystes/sporozoïtes contenus dans des oocystes. Lesdits procédés comportent une solution d'oocystes soumise à des forces de cisaillement régulées suffisantes pour rompre les parois des oocystes et en libérer des sporocystes/sporozoïtes. Une solution d'oocystes traverse une unité de chambre de processeur MicrofluidizerÒ dans des conditions définies de diamètre de chambre, de géométrie de chambre et de pression. Les oocystes heurtent la paroi de la chambre et sont soumis à des forces de cisaillement élevées régulées qui dechirent la paroi des oocystes et libérent des sporocystes/sporozoïtes en les maintenant intacts.
