Certain cells, including types of cancer cells such as B-cell lymphoma, T-cell lymphoma, T-cell leukemia, multiple myeloma, and Hodgkin's Disease, are capable of expressing cell surface antigen RNA and proteins. Targeting using cell surface antigen polypeptides, nucleic acids encoding for cell surface antigen polypeptides, antibodies specific for cell surface antigens, and small molecules and peptides that bind to or recognize said cell surface antigens, provides a method of killing or inhibiting that growth of cells that express the cell surface antigen protein. Methods of therapy and diagnosis of disorders associated with cell surface protein-expressing cells are described.

Certaines cellules, dont des cellules cancéreuses - lymphome des lymphocytes B, lymphome des lymphocytes T, leucémie des lymphocytes T, myélome multiple, maladie de Hodgkin, notamment - sont capables d'exprimer un ARN antigénique sur la surface cellulaire et des protéines. Pour détruire les cellules qui expriment la protéine antigénique à la surface cellulaire ou en inhiber la croissance, on peut procéder à un ciblage au moyen de polypeptides antigéniques de surface cellulaire, d'acides nucléiques codant pour lesdits polypeptides, d'anticorps spécifiques d'antigènes de surface cellulaire ainsi que de petites molécules et de petits peptides qui se lient à des antigènes de surface ou les reconnaissent. Sont décrites des méthodes thérapeutiques et diagnostiques en rapport avec des cellules exprimant des protéines de surface.
