Methods of generating subsurface heat for treating a hydrocarbon containing formation are described herein. The methods include providing a stream that includes water to a plurality of wellbores. Fuel and oxidant is provided to one or more flameless distributed combustors positioned in at least one of the wellbores. The fuel and oxidant is mixed to form a fuel/oxidant mixture. At least a portion of the mixture is flamelessly combusted in at least one of the flameless distributed combustors to generate heat. The fuel includes at least 0.1% hydrogen sulfide by volume.
La présente invention concerne des procédés permettant de générer une chaleur souterraine pour traiter une formation contenant des hydrocarbures. Les procédés consistent à introduire un flux qui contient de l'eau dans une pluralité de puits de forage. Un combustible et un oxydant sont introduits dans une ou plusieurs chambres de combustion réparties sans émission de flammes placées dans au moins l'un des puits de forage. Le combustible et l'oxydant sont mélangés de manière à former un mélange combustible/oxydant. Au moins une partie du mélange est brûlé sans émission de flammes dans au moins l'une des chambres de combustion réparties sans émission de flammes afin de générer de la chaleur. Le combustible contient au moins 0,1% de sulfure d'hydrogène par volume.
