The present invention provides novel compositions and methods for inhibiting restenosis, thrombosis, and/or inflammation in a patient undergoing a vascular intervention. More particularly, the present invention provides intravascular devices coated with one or more spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) inhibitors. Methods for inhibiting restenosis, thrombosis, and/or inflammation in a patient by treatment with such intravascular devices are also provided. In addition, the present invention provides methods for treating sickle cell disease using Syk inhibitors.

L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositions et des traitements visant à inhiber la resténose, la thrombose et/ou l'inflammation chez un patient subissant une intervention vasculaire. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des dispositifs intravasculaires revêtus d'un ou de plusieurs inhibiteurs de la tyrosine kinase splénique (Syk). L'invention vise à inhiber la resténose, la thrombose et/ou l'inflammation chez un patient grâce à un traitement utilisant de tels dispositifs intravasculaires. De plus, l'invention concerne des méthodes de traitement de la drépanocytose utilisant des inhibiteurs de la Syk.
