A tracking system configured to orient light concentrators to face a light source. The system includes a movable support structure (208) for providing global alignment of the light concentrators (218) with the light source, the system also includes a light concentrator (LC) module (208) that is coupled to the support structure (204A, 204B) and has an array of light concentrators that are in fixed positions with respect to each other. The system also includes a secondary alignment mechanism having a module joint (222) that movably couples the LC module (204A, 204B) to the support structure (208) and an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is configured to selectively move the LC module about, two axes relative to a pivot point of the module joint thereby orienting the array of light concentrators.
La présente invention concerne un système de suivi configuré pour orienter des concentrateurs de lumière afin quils soient face à une source lumineuse. Le présent système comprend une structure de support mobile (208) destinée à fournir un alignement global des concentrateurs de lumière (218) avec la source lumineuse. Le système comprend également un module de concentrateur de lumière (LC) (208) couplé à la structure de support (204A, 204B) et comporte un réseau de concentrateurs de lumière en position fixe les uns par rapport aux autres. Le système comprend également un mécanisme dalignement secondaire muni dun joint de module (222) qui couple de manière mobile le module de LC (204A, 204B) à la structure de support (208) et à un ensemble dactionneur. Lensemble dactionneur est configuré pour déplacer de manière sélective le module de LC autour de deux axes par rapport à un point pivot du joint de module, ce qui permet ainsi dorienter le réseau de concentrateurs de lumière.
