A micellar aqueous composition which comprises a chitosan derivative having carboxy (C1-5)alkyl groups as a hydrophilic group and C9-21 alkyl or aliphatic C9-21 acyl groups as a hydrophobic group introduced thereinto and a hydrophobic drug; and a method for solubilizing a hydrophobic drug which comprises adding the above-mentioned chitosan derivative together with the hydrophobic drug to an aqueous solvent to thereby form a micellar aqueous composition. Thus, drugs which are insoluble in water and, therefore, can hardly be injected by the conventional methods can be processed into injections. Moreover, it is expected that a sorbefacient effect can be exerted on drugs which have poor solubility in preparations for oral administration, etc.
Cette invention concerne une composition aqueuse micellaire qui comporte un dérivé de chitosane ayant, en tant que groupe hydrophile, des groupes alkyle(C¿1-5?) carboxy et en tant que groupe hydrophobe, incorporé à la solution, des groupes alkyle C¿9-21? ou acyle C¿9-21? aliphatiques, ainsi qu'un médicament hydrophobe. L'invention concerne également un procédé de solubilisation d'un médicament hydrophobe qui consiste à ajouter le dérivé de chitosane décrit ci-dessus conjointement avec le médicament hydrophobe à un solvant aqueux de façon à former une composition aqueuse micellaire. Ainsi, des médicaments qui sont insolubles dans l'eau et sont de ce fait difficilement injectables par des procédés classiques, peuvent être incorporés à des injections. On peut en outre s'attendre à ce qu'un effet promoteur d'absorption soit exercé sur des médicaments possédant une faible solubilité dans des préparations destinées à l'administration par voie orale, etc.
