ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Acylated thiopropionyl anilines of the formula Image (I) wherein R1 and R2 are each alkyl, alkoxy or halogen, R3 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen, R4 is hydrogen or methyl, with the proviso that R1 to R4 contain not more than 8 carbon atoms in total, R5 is methyl or ethyl, and Y is -OR6, -SR6 or -SCSN(CH3)2, wherein R6 is alkyl, alkenyl or alkinyl, are effective micro- bicides, preferably for combatting phytopathogenic fungi or for preventing fungi attack.
