A microbicidal composition consisting of a water-soluble polymer and the active principle 1-(5-bromofur-2-yl)-2-bromo-2-nitroethene is provided to be used as chemical sterilizer of culture media for the control of bacterial and fungal contaminants. This technical solution, even can be used for the sterilization of solid and liquid culture media, is particularly useful in the production of "in vitro" cultivated plants, and surprisingly was found that its utilization can substitute completely the previous process of sterilization that this media require and even more, the addition of the necessary hormones in the rootage process of "in vitro" plants of crops.
L'invention concerne le domaine de la microbiologie et plus particulièrement l'obtention d'une formulation qui contient comme principe actif 1-(5-bromofur-2-yl)-2-bromo-2-nitroéthène, lequel est utilisé comme agent de stérilisation de milieux de culture pour l'élimination des contaminants bactériens et fongiques. La composition de la présente invention peut être utilisée avantageusement dans la production de plantes propagées "in vitro", ou l'on a découvert de manière surprenante que son utilisation pouvait remplacer totalement le procédé antérieur de stérilisation nécessaire au milieu de culture, et en plus son utilisation pouvait même éliminer l'addition d'hormones de croissance à ces milieux de culture, ces hormones étant nécessaires en condition normale, afin d'obtenir un bon enracinement de la plante dans ces milieux de culture pendant la croissance de la plante.
