A composition comprising a copper salt of N'-hydroxy-N-cyclohexyldiazenium oxide (CuHDO) and a diluent is useful for combating and/or killing bacteria, mould, yeast and algae in industrial materials and or industrial processes. In a preferred embodiment CuHDO is generated in-situ within the application or medium. The composition may additionally include at least one or certain other biocidal active components.

L'invention porte sur une composition contenant un sel de cuivre d'oxyde de N'-hydroxy-N-cyclohexyldiazenium (CuHDO) et un diluent, qui est utile pour combattre et/ou tuer des bactéries, de la moisissure et des algues dans des matériaux industriels et/ou des procédés industriels. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, CuHDO est généré in situ dans l'application ou le milieu.
